The Apple TV is not responding

I have a PC running Vista. The most broken part of Vista is iTunes. Yep it seems every time Steve Jobs announces a new version of iTunes it is buggy.

iTunes 7,7 removed all my podcast subscriptions, I had to restore from backup.

It will no longer sync my Apple TV. I get this nice “Port 3689 ERROR”. Even after I turn my firewall off.

Apple TV can no longer stream from my PC. No reason given it just makes my computer a dimmed out option and/or says no content found.
