Microsoft, people have been down this path and<a href="http://apps.windowsstore.com/default.htm">Windows Phone App Studio</a> is not the right road.
You need to fix IE. Developers are not using it and are not developing for it. Put a WebKit/Blink browser on your touch devices and get as many web apps to work as you can. Stop selling Office and start selling what customers want.
